Fredrik Kayser Sideboard
A Norwegian Gustav Bahus mid century sideboard. A Teak design by Fredrik Kayser and dated to the late 1950's or early 1960"s.
The sideboard has a very clean profile profile with handleless, locking doors. Only interrupted by the sculpted protrusion of the drawer fronts. Which are strikingly elegant, particularly in side profile.
On the left the doors are unlocked to reveal a single cabinet with a fixed height shelf 925L 350W. space of 215 below and 200 above. Centre right is a bank of four bow fronted drawers. The top drawer being Royal blue, baize lined. On the right is a locked cupboard with a fixed shelf.
