Grete Jalk - PJ56 armchair - Oak - (requires upholstery)
An early example of a Grete Jalk armchair. The PJ56 by Poul Jeppesen from the 1950's.
This chair is likely to be a very early example rare in Oak.
A distinctive and beautiful feature is the integrated back rest spindles through the armrest. Not something that featured in the later Jalk chair designs when flatpack supply became of paramount importance.
This chair needs strapping and upholstery. Seen here in leather cushions borrowed from another chair.
