McIntosh Rosewood Sideboard
A McIntosh Dunfermline mid century sideboard in richly figured Rosewood, designed by Tom Robertson.
The sideboard layout has on the left a bank of three drawers, with the top drawer lined in black baize and fitted with inset cutlery dividers. At the centre is a double-width cupboard, equipped with a fixed, split-depth shelf—offering deeper storage on the left (390mm) and shallower space on the right (200mm). To the right, a drop-down drinks cabinet door is mounted on stays, revealing a clean interior and a recessed, sliding serving tray tucked beneath the top.
Condition: Excellent. Doors, ends and legs all very good. The top shows some light fading and some watermarks and scratches in the urethane finish.
